For the first game of the Spring season the boys seemed a bit excited and did not settle into the game right away.  Throughout both halfs they struggled connecting as a team and keeping possesion of the ball as the majority of our passes were very direct.  There was some great individual effort and skill displayed which is always good to see.  As the boys moved into the second half they seemed a bit fatigued and gave up 3 goals.   Unfortunately, the boys did not come away with a victory, but did manage to find the back of the net on a great goal by Zohar. 

There was some great individual work on the field, but the boys must learn to connect and build the from the back.  Over the course of the next couple of games I look for them to play with a more possesion based style that will hopefully lead to more success.

 From the first whistle the boys displayed much better shape and had no trouble winning the ball in the midfield and distributing.   The first half was promising with a number of chances from crosses and the top of the box.  The boys were able to take a 1 - 0 in to halftime on a goal scored by Riku.  In the second half the boys lost their shape at times, but still managed to out posses their opponent and added 3 more goals in the second half(Bouska, Denny, Riku).

The possesion and distribution was better today, but still needs to be fine tuned.  Overall I was pleased that the boys bounced back from the day before playing at a higher level of soccer that we can build on.
